I would like to write a briefly summary about the first month experience of September :)
What I learned from the past month
- Schedule and consistency is absolutely important
- Don’t stare at the dashboard. Keep the focus on what you are doing!
- Don’t bother about numbers. Don’t care about the number of viewers!
- The interaction with the viewers is fulfilling. It is just awesome to have a talk with other viewers!
What are my plans for October
Here I will share what I think about the growth of the channel
I would like to push for an Organic growth of the channel. Instead of spamming my channel all around the Internet, I prefer to look for the right niche, starting from the smaller one to end up with the bigger one. What I mean about small is for example, local communities, subreddits, dedicated forums, etc. For big I mean Twitter or official channels where I can advertise my channel. Sustain an organic growth let me to validate and build a mature streaming format.
What about the Minimum Marketable Features set, a minimum set of things that can brings value to the market (and here the market is you, the programmer!).
This will be my minimum set of things I would like to bring to you:
- Educational contents (best practices to apply when writing code)
- Schedule consistency
- Learning new stuff (programming languages or tools)
- Contribute to open source projects
I speak to the hungry programmers, those who are looking for something of valuable that can help them to improve their careers. What do you think about the idea and the contents I would like to bring to you through Twitch? If you want to propose something more, you can open an issue here, I will be glad to read all your feedback!
